The Malt Shovel Tavern now stocks Broadlands Country Wines in a wide selection of flavours: Apricot, Blackberry, Blackcurrant, Cherry, Cranberry, Damson, Elderberry, Ginger, Gooseberry, Norfolk Mead, Orange, Parsnip, Peach, Plum, Raspberry, Redcurrant, Rhubarb, Sloe and Strawberry.

These wines are sold by the glass (125ml) for £2.10 or by the bottle to take away for £6.25.

Fruit beers are one of the most unusual beer styles in the world, where fermentation depends on wild yeasts in the atmosphere. When fruit is added, a further fermentation occurs, resulting in a champagne like beer.

As with the bottled varieties, these draught fruit beers, Frambozen and Kriek, offer the same champagne-like beers but at 4.5% and 6% respectively.
