For our highly popular Wednesday night gigs there is no admission charge and you don't need a ticket! More information and future months' band details are available here.

Building on the success of our Wednesday night band events we have introduced the
Sunday Blues Club
where we will be featuring premium bands from home and abroad. Entry to these Sunday afternoon events is by pre-paid ticket only, available from the bar (cash or cheque with valid banker's card or with a stamped, SAE sent to the pub with a cheque for the full payment)

Doors open at 12 noon and performances will begin at about 4pm and end around 6pm with a brief interval. After 3pm ticket holders should access the venue via the rear terrace entrance.

Brewery Tap

The Malt Shovel Tavern is the "Brewery Tap" (main outlet) for beers from the Great Oakley Brewery. The beers produced by this new Northamptonshire brewery complement the other excellent real ales on offer!
